Picture yourself sitting with a hot cup of chai from your favorite coffee place in town. You stir the chai and smell the delicious spices. You watch the hot steam rising, swirling.
Just as you would stir your cup of chai, we also need to stir up our dormant dreams and passions.
Sometimes they get stuck at the bottom of our cup. Stir that passion and drive back up.
You may have had disappointments in the past, failures, maybe lots of them. But this Christmas, give yourself the gift of a new beginning.
Too often we live defeated, settling for our current situation. If we live this way things are not going to get better.
In faith, follow your dreams and passions believing God created you to be extraordinary. Believing He has great plans for your life.
Perhaps you once had dreams and passion, but have lost both. Maybe you believed there was more for your life. Maybe you got out there and went for it, but it didn’t work. You failed and got hurt.
Perhaps it felt as if it would have been better had you not tried at all.
This defeated mentality will only remain true if it’s what you believe. Dust yourself off and try again believing your failures have prepared you for something even greater.
Your best is still out in front of you. Give yourself the gift of a new beginning this Christmas.
