Salutation To The Dawn

Look to this day!
For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existence:

The bliss of growth
The glory of action
The splendor of beauty,

For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day!

Such is the salutation to the dawn.

    Claudia – what a beautiful way to begin this Friday! I have to say – it is Friday the 13th and that has always been an especially good day for us (my husband and I met on the 13th) – so while I always begin the day expecting good things – I expect special encouragement today and wonderful surprises!

    With all open senses soaking in what I can, and stepping forward with all I’ve got in hopes that I can live it to my very best. That was a beautiful Salutation To The Dawn. If God is to grant me another day, I will remember this when I wake in the morning.
