I was for a long time and in a new project I’m working on that’s definitely something I need to guard against – I tend to stay in planning mode longer than necessary – thanks for the reminder!

    I mentioned, I think, to you and Claudia previously about contacting moms groups about nutrition and the Beyond Organic products – well I also am revising my child’s nutrition evaluation page and adding some content and hoping this will provide something valuable to moms who are concerned with improving their children’s nutrition.

I like Bob Goff’s philosophy of “doing”. It’s in the doing that you are really learning and correcting your plan anyways. “Faith without works is dead”.

Circling too long in business can lead to a leadership failure. Many times you need to act with less than perfect information. The important leadership distinction is to know when it’s possible to act and when you need a bit more time. In other words, analysis is good…paralysis not so good! (And I really enjoyed Bob’s book.)

  That’s wisdom there, Skip. When I launched my business, I was scared. I didn’t have all the information. However, I knew I had checked and rechecked all my figures, projections, and the market. I just needed to jump. So, that’s what I did. It wasn’t easy, but 7 months later, I had replaced my income and was so glad I jumped!
