    What an adorable picture!!  I try to put things in perspective – including myself!  When my Christopher was going to go away to college since he was our first people kept asking me how I would cope with him going away, etc.  It was constant!  They thought since we are so close I would just fall apart.   I really had to stop and think about it and I realized – he wasn’t going to jail, or to drug rehab - it was college – exactly what we had been preparing him for all these years.  It was a GOOD thing.  I can honestly say even though I missed him of course, it was not a difficult transition for either of us.  Now my husband, that was another story…lol!  Not sure that answered the question, but I tend to do that with things, including myself.

      Love it, Ann. Reminds me of the saying that, we as parents, are to raise adults, not kids. It sounds like you had a healthy perspective. Thanks for the input!

    Sweet! That is awesome… There’s a story somewhere about Rule #6. And it basically ends up telling us, “not to take life so seriously”… Someone once asked, “well then what  are all the other rules?”… And the answer was, “there are none”.

    That also reminds me, we all know that a lawless society would create chaos, but to tell you the truth I think its because we originally leaned on rules, for power and security. However, if somehow we made the leaning unnecessary, power and controls drifts away, and all that’s left is “love”…

    I had a few weeks of reflection on taking life too seriously… Sometimes, we just need to chill… ;-)

      hahaha great to have you back Rob! I’m so glad you were able to have time to chill and think!!! Getting out of the regular routine is so reinvigorating!
