I agree that it is very worthwhile in investing in bettering yourself!  I intentionally use my time in the car to listen to teaching CDs and books on CD – I read a long time ago somewhere about making your car a traveling university and it’s amazing how effective that is!  I don’t make a lot of long trips – but just having that uninterrupted time in the car even for short local trips helps and I get very involved in the teachings!

Ann, I’ve heard Zig Ziglar say that – don’t know if he was the first. Isn’t it amazing how encouraging and instructional listening to material in the car is? I know I really enjoy it and have learned a bunch too.

You’re right Michael – I don’t know if that originated with him, but I think I heard this from Zig as well!  Thanks for reminding me.

I don’t listen to podcasts nearly as much as I used to.  When I drove to work back and forth I had tons of time to soak it in.   Recently I’ve been listening to the Accidental Creative and Cut the Fat Podcasts more consistently.

Michael, I’ve heard of Accidental Creative before, but haven’t ever listened to it. Never heard of Cut the Fat. I’ll check them out. Thanks!
